What Is Orthodontics?
It is a branch of science in dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of teeth, jaw and facial irregularities. Irregular and bad closure, which is called as malocclusion, can be treated with orthodontics. Orthodontics aims to prevent the occurrence of teeth, jaw, face and closing disorders and to treat the occurred disorders.
Metal Teeth Braces
Metal braces are the type of bracket that is preferred among many classical braces. Metal brackets are the most evidently noticeable because they are metal, the least likely to break, the most robust and the most durable type of braces. Since there are no braces that can be removed at any time, the person should decide about wire insertion by considering this situation.
Lingual Braces
Lingual brackets, which are known as adult braces, are a kind of braces attached to the back of the teeth, not internally to the front of the teeth.
Porcelain Braces
Porcelain braces, which are less prone to the eye than the metal tooth wire, are the choice of patients who are 20 years old, especially late for the treatment of orthodontics. Porcelain braces, because they are more sensitive than metal tooth wire requires careful use.
Invisalign®
This treatment method is an orthodontic treatment consisting of a series of transparent plates that are specially prepared after the patient's orthodontic problem has been detected by using advanced technology (3D tomography and CEREC).
Can Anyone Get Invisalign®?
It is an orthodontic treatment that can be applied to both adults and young and children. However, whether or not you are eligible for Invisalign treatment becomes clear as a result of your doctor's examination. Moderate and mild tooth crowding disorders can be treated with Invisalign. An orthodontic treatment with tooth extraction can instead be treated with Invisalign. Only your doctor can determine the extraction treatment with Invisalign.

Treatment
For the adult treatments, aesthetics brackets (ceramic or ice brackets) and titanium-containing covered wires or lingual techniques taking into consideration the social position, profession and social status of the patient in the society. INVISALIGN treatment method is an orthodontic treatment consisting of a series of transparent plates that are specially prepared after the patient's orthodontic problem has been detected by using advanced technology (3D Tomography and CEREC).
Recovery
Recovery time depends on the first condition of the teeth. It varies between 3-12 months approximately when the instructions are followed.
Controls / Advices
In classical orthodontic treatment, the wires need to be replaced at regular intervals (approximately once a month). The wires will normally cause tension in the teeth. In case of any other discomfort, please consult your dentist.
